“Fused bead” samples used to test the composition of organic chemicals proposed as alternative fuel for cement ovens. To curb their consumption of fossil fuels, cement manufacturers started partially replacing fossil fuels with combustible chemical waste. A large array of otherwise difficult to treat, sometimes toxic wastes are eligible.
