Déchaînements VDC14_07A - Chandelier - Vincenzo De Cotiis

'Déchaînements' is a collection of limited edition tables, rugs and glass lighting, inspired by a trip to Beirut, Lebanon. The architect explores with his unique sensibility the perceptions of different layers of the urban space and diverse architecture translated in contemporary objects.

With the idea of the eclectic and unique urban landscape of the Lebanese capital, Vincenzo De Cotiis created a series of chandeliers entirely developed by VENINI playing with transparencies and in a totally innovative form. All the chandeliers are unique pieces, we have amazing videos showing the making of also in Murano. With the lighting, the collection is composed by rugs produced with a new technique of silk and wool oxidation produced by Iwan Maktabi and different objects such as tables and consoles playing with an eclectic but sober mix of materials like resin, silvered brass and marble.
