During the production process, the designer’s rich personal imagery is translated and transformed, smoothed and filtered. There is a gradual decline of the original intuitions. By connecting drawing to crafts, for instance, a new range of methods and ways of making objects emerges. Traces and marks from the production are left visible on the surface of the objects, making a stronger connection with the drawings.
