Carwan gallery is proud to present selected works by Apparatus Studio (USA) and Oeuffice (UK) for the first time in the Middle East.

Born from playful experimentation with vintage lighting components, Apparatus is a New York based design studio. Aged brass, etched glass, leather, marble, and porcelain are combined to create lighting fixtures, furniture, and objects that fuse sculptural form with hand-worn materials.

After the great success at Senato Hotel during the Milan Design Week, Carwan brings the installation to Beirut unveiling for the first time in the Middle East the new edition Kapital, a special collection of nine unique tables each slightly different in shape and all handmade in Italy from solid marble. Kapital by Oeuffice is a series of limited edition tables and stools based on essential forms, reminiscent of primordial stone capitals and simple geometric assemblages commonly found in classical architecture.
