Carwan Gallery is happy to announce its particpation to the third edition of NOMAD, happening in St. Moritz from February 06 to February 09 2020. NOMAD is open to collectors, interior designers, architects and art professionals, and presents a selection of internationally leading galleries and special projects. Alongside gallery presentations, a programme of Special Projects will be presented. NOMAD is conceived by Giorgio Pace and Nicolas Bellevance-Lecompte.

On the occasion of Nomad St Moritz, Carwan Gallery is presenting a selection of new and established artists from its roster, selected from the wondrous context of Chesa Planta. Carwan will introduce Marcin Rusak, a Polish artist newly represented by the gallery with the project Protoplasting Nature. Marcin creates metallic fossils casting real plant leaves metallized with zinc, found metal. Further on display a new series of vessels for Carwan Gallery by the Canadian Omer Arbel. The otherworldly elegant series of bronze sculptures 113, is a result of Arbel’s ongoing research into the reciprocal relationship between glass and metals which creates unique material iterations.
