Carwan Gallery is the premier contemporary design gallery from the Near East, promoting and producing works from the region and beyond. The current partners are Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte and Quentin Moyse, both architects and creative entrepreneurs.

Through the gallery’s comprehensive and cross-cultural collaborations, a vital and rich exchange of ideas, influences and expertise is prompted. The plurality of their borderless network that engages designers, architects and artists alike has established Carwan Gallery as a significant player in the world of collectible design.

The gallery was founded in 2011 by Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte and Pascale Wakim and has been invited to showcase its exhibitions at the most important art and design fairs in Dubai, Basel, London, New York and Miami, and has curated design exhibitions in numerous museums and art centers. The directors of Carwan place a distinct importance on developing strong collaborations with cultural organizations, institutions, and specialized press.

Carwan’s collaborations with avant-garde designers and architects such as Bernard Khoury, India Mahdavi, Michael Anastassiades and Vincenzo de Cotiis have been featured in international press and displayed in exhibitions in the United States, UK, France, and Italy, establishing the gallery as a significant player in the world of collectible design.
